Analyze
The first step to a successful web course is to analyze the pedagogic variables.
So, I must first ask myself as a teacher:
What are my educational goals and objectives?
Who are my learners?
What model(s) am I basing my instruction on?
What kind of (online) teacher would I like to be?
After these questions are answered and analyzed, it is time for the second step. The first step is, however, the most critical for the learning process; the instruction, not the technology is paramount.
